Can you handle dating a Country Girl?!?

Girls in general are already hard to figure out, can you imagine a crazy, wild and free country girl? It's actually simple. It's the little thing that count and from a single girls point of view this is what I've come up with from my previous experiences and I'm sure there is more. It's not complicated and we are to some weird breed that tires to act like men, we are ladies who are capable of handling themselves so don't be intimidated these are just tips.

1. If you know a Blake Sheldon or even a Taylor Swift song, sing it no matter how bad you sound. It impresses them with your knowledge of different country songs.

2. Never change the radio station from country to hip hop just because it's a slow song. Wait till commercial or she'll be waiting to cut your fingers off.

3. Do not ever make fun of her for the amount of boots she has or give her a hard time about much she spent.

4. Dress nice. We don't want you to wear skinny jeans or jeans that about to fall off.
Belts are nice so wear them and if you don't have that's ok.

5. Know your gun knowledge and don't try to tell a girl what kind of gun she can 'handle'.
Chance are she already has more guns than you.

6. Anything camo is sexy.

7. Take her on a date to a country bar.

8. Do not order a fruity girly drink for her, get a bucket of beer to share to be safe. Chances are she likes her whiskey cokes.

9. Want to plan a get away with her? Take her out in the woods, camping, fishing, mudding or even shooting. Don't get to comfortable with her and treat her like one of the boys. She can handle herself out there but it's nice to let her relax and watch you handle the manly things.

10. Just because we like mudding and shooting doesn’t mean we don’t like to be girly and get treated to some diamonds every once in a while or even flowers. Roses are unoriginal so try something different like daisies or sunflowers.

11. Be a gentleman. Open doors for her, call her, compliment her, charm her friends and family with smiles and laughter.

12. You don’t have to be country to charm her. Teach her something new and introduce her to your interests.

13. Don’t be intimidated by her young, wild and free sense of life. If you worry a lot and play it safe then you may not be a good fit for her.

14. Don’t get jealous, were one men only kind of women. And don’t try to sleep with us on the first date, not gonna happen.

15. Don’t piss off daddy. You should be more worried about her gun collection than his.

16. Don’t ever let her go or she’ll be the one who got away.

Hope y'all have a good weekend!!

Go Go Smoothie...

Today, I'm excited to share with you my favourite smoothies. I have having a clear out at the weekend in the kitchen, I had too many applications and my mother said I have to get rid. I found my favourite smoothie maker, K-MIX Blender and I have a NutriBullet that I bought a few weeks ago but haven't had time to use it yet but my best friend has one, it's amazing so quick and easy to use. So I'm heading into Louth laters, to get some fruit etc and make myself a perfect smoothie.

I'm a smoothie lover, and I've started to make them for a healthy breakfast, a nutritious snack, an afternoon pick me up and, after a quick workout, a recovery drink.

When I'm feeling lazy, I just go to the store and grab myself a Innocent - Strawberry and Banana. I love those wooly knitted hats seriously it's the cutest thing ever. I also love homemade smoothies, in the summer, don't really have time in the winter.

So stop wasting money on expensive, sugary frozen drinks from big chain coffee shops, whip up your own using fresh, healthful ingredients in the NutriBullet.

A smoothie is a great way to get those phytonutrients into your diet (and you kids too). Adding a dairy free protein power to your smoothie can boost energy and enhance immunity. We also like to add healthy fats such as coconut, almonds, avocado and chia seeds that will leave your skin glowing and your stomach feeling satisfied.

Here is a round-up of some of my favourite smoothie recipe.
Firstly my favourite Diet Coke hunk Andrew Cooper, Juiceman.

1. Breakfast Smoothie
A great grab and go breakfast for all the family.

Not Just Nail Polish

Nail polish comes in handy when you want to clean up your hands or even look a little fancy, but being a farm girl it's very hard to keep nail polish on your nails, mine only lasts about half an hour, and it's chipped off. I actually feel like a girl when I wear it but did you know that there are a ton of other uses for nail polish?!? Here are some surprising ways to use nail polish in your everyday life:

1. If you find a small tear in your window screens, they can be fixed with a small amount of clear nail polish. It's the same idea behind using clear nail polish on a run in your pantyhose.

2. If you have a loose button, apply a small amount of clear nail polish of the fraying thread to keep the button from coming off.

3. Licking that glue on the back of an envelope can be just gross, especially in large quantities. If you want to save your mouth, you can seal the envelopes with a but of clear nail polish.

3. Making labels is easy with Sharpie, a popsicle stick and some clear nail polish. Simply write on the stick what you are labelling in your garden. Prevent ink from running on your stick with a coat or two of clear polish.

4. If you are a craft person, you know using a needle and thread can be challenge. If you want to thread a needle and you can't seem to get it, an easy fix is dipping the end of your thread in a small amount of nail polish. It will make this process so much easier!!

5. Too many keys or phone chargers in the house? How can you tell them apart? using colour nail polish, you can easily distinguish between your similar things

These tips come very hardy in this household very much.

Yes! Nurse "Say Hello to your hand's new Best Friend"

I've been trying to be good to my hands lately, they show your true age you know!
Being a Farm girl, your hands always aren't always soft as you want them to be.. mine are especially are terrible. Trying to find a good hand cream that doesn't string when you apply is hard to find. Yes! Nurse, It has a very light clean and fresh to it where I detect the tiniest hint of honey coming through and definitely doesn't sting on my cuts at all.

So I've been applying Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment cream nightly just before I go to bed. I received Yes! Nurse on Monday 11th April that was only a few days ago and I'm pretty impressed with it already I know you should wait for a few weeks before reviewing any product but I've seen a big change in my hands, they literally feel brand new. I am super bad for picking the skin around my nails, it happened when it get stressed about something but Yes! Nurse is helping very much.
This was developed by a former nurse who wanted to develop something to help nurses look after their hands. As nurses, they would be washing their hands a lot in the hospital and that results in dry hands so the Yes! Nurse hand cream claims to not only address this dryness but to protect. It is the after quality that I think makes this hand cream especially if you wash your hands a lot.

The packing is super cute. It comes in a cardboard box, with a cute picture on the inside dedicated to the nurses for whom this hand cream was made. The rube itself is similar sleek, slim and well designed with a flip top cap. It is a 50ml tube but it is so slim. The flip top cap makes dispensing product so much easier, and the slim tube slips into handbags easy.
(I keep my in my handbag, so my hands are hydrated at all times) and every time I'm out at the bar with my girl-friends or even my farmer friends, I always get it out my bag and say
"Hey guys. You should totally check out Yes!Nurse its seriously the best thing ever".
The dudes look at me in a weirdly way but they seriously need some advice sometimes especially with hand creams, there hands are nasty!

The texture of the cream feels a little thick but is isn't greasy and it absorbs very easily. This is extremely important for me because I cannot stand hand creams that are sticky or oily. As you have guessed by now, this is a hand cream that has been specially formulated for hard working hands that are in need some serious TLC. It has an intensive moisturising formula which contains Active Manuka Honey +15 & Omega 3, 6, 9 to help restore your hands to their former glory. It have a very light clean

My personal opinion is that I have never found a little product that could be so perfect, now summer is approaching and you like to keep your hands hydrated, it is magic in a pot!! The moisturiser comes out white in colour and a pea size amount is enough to use on the hands. It leaves your hands feeling so soft and smelling fresh.
I am definitely in love the packaging and how clean it looks. It gives you all the information you need to know about the products as well as being recyclable. This moisturiser would be suitable for anyone but I feel it would especially benefit mothers to use on the little ones as they tend to put their hands anywhere and with it's protective and active ingredients it's perfect.

The Yes! Nurse is definitely one to look out for with it's magical qualities, you can't go wrong. 10/10.

I haven't actually seen Yes! Nurse in stores around Lincolnshire, but I'm sure its somewhere but you can purchase online from Yes! Nurse Online Store or Feel Unique!!

Let me know if you purchase this product!

This product was sent free to me for my 100% honest review and opinion.

A-choo... Allergy Season!!

It's that time of year again... allergy season. If you are out and about a lot of the day especially on the farm, this time of year can be super miserable. If you want to keep itchy eyes, sneezing, coughing and sinus headaches at bay. I don't usually suffer with hay fever, well I haven't for a few years now... Over the last few days I can definitely feel my eyes are starting to suffer. Where I live I'm surrounded by yellow fields (rapeseed).

Here are some tips for surviving allergy season in one piece.

Close your windows: While we love to have our windows open as much as possible (and save money on air conditioning), if you are an allergy sufferer think about being the bullet and going with AC this year. If will keep a lot of allergens out of your house.

Dust and vacuum: Dusting your house and then vacuuming can lower the amount of sneeze-causing stuff that floats around your house.

Change your sheets: This sounds silly but allergens can stick to your pillowcases and the more you change them the better. The cleaner your sleeping space is, the easier you will breathe.

Check the weather: Your local weather channel should have the pollen count available (you can always find on BBC weather app for smartphones) which can help you gauge what you are up against. If it is going to be sunny and dry, you may want to wait until later in the afternoon for any outdoor activities. I usually wear big sunglasses while I'm at work. That kind of helps.

Bathe your pup: If you dog has a lot of fur, he may be carrying in pollen when her comes in from outside, so it can help to keep his hair short and wash him regularly.

Stock up on allergy-free supplies: You can buy pillows, pillow cases and mattress covers that protect you from allergens.

Of course, your allergist may have prescribed you an antihistamine or decongestant but these are just easy tips on how to beat the allergens that are out there.

Whatever you do, don't let your allergies keep you from enjoying the amazing spring and summer weather.

Taming the Frizzy Hair!!

We're tackling one of summer's biggest hair woes, frizz! No one wants to have super frizzy hair. It's something that some of us are more prone to than others, and I'm in the frizzy hair camp. When my hair is frizzy there are a few things I do to de-frizz. The most important for me is hydrating my hair. My hair is always dry when it starts to frizz, regardless of how much humidity is out there. So, if you're fighting the frizz be sure to use an intensive hydrating treatments.

When my hair is dry and damaged, I definitely see an increase in frizz! I swap out my regular conditioner for a more intensive treatment, or if I really need to I'll even grab an overnight treatment. When I'm having issues with frizzy, a hydrating issue is the first product I reach for!

A few of my favourite super intensive treatments:

Keep it dry

Instead of drying your hair with a regular towel, reach for microfibrer (like this DevaTowel) or even just an old t-shirt. Don't rub, instead just squeeze and blot your hair. You'll rough up the cuticle of your hair less, so you'll have shiner hair with less hair.

Styling Products to Prevent Frizz
Finally, we get to the part that you really want to know What products you add in to your styling routine to fight frizz? There are a lot of great products out there, I'm including some of my fave here. I'm purposefully trying to hit every point, but L'Oreal works really, really, really well and I do like it ( and it's price tag) a lot.

What are your tips on caring for your hair? Any special tips of tricks? I would love to hear you suggestions as working on the farm, my hair goes through a lot and I can't control my frizz. My hair is literally like Monia's in the summer!!!

Happy Tuesday!

With love
