Christmas Eve at Our Little Farmhouse...

Can you believe it's Christmas Eve already?
The holiday has really sprang up on us this year.  I wasn't really feeling in the spirit of Christmas until last night.

The farmhouse is twinkling and sparking with the sights, sounds and aromas of
"the most wonderful time of the year!"
So come on in out of the cold air... May your heart be blessed and filled with love as I welcome sweet, adorable, you into my home this Christmas.

I'm so trilled that you came to share some Christmas joy with me! I've been happily decking the halls, hanging wreaths, adoring my mantles with rose hips garlands, while sipping a cup of tea. Now go grab a cup of something yummy to sip and turn on your christmas music!

Someone said "The kitchen is the heart of the home".... I agree! Especially at Christmastime. It's the place where all the warm aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, apple out, spicy clove and orange pomanders, sugar cookies and supper cookin' swirl throughout the house making each heart swoon and eyes sparkle. It smells like love. The kitchen seems to be the happiest room in the room.

The lights are up and twinkling like stars... the wind is whistling.
Last year I stuck twigs into the top of the tree... this year, glass baubles (from a chandelier) and vintage candle holders with homemade candles.

I haven't had much time this year to decorate the house, as we only moved in... in October. And we left the christmas decorations box in the attic of the old house so we don't have much at all but hopefully it will be better this next year!!!

The Kitchen definitely smells like Christmas this fine afternoon.

Yep, I'm a farm girl at heart and will always be one.

Thank you so much for stopping by! As always I sure love hearing from you!

May you have a Very Merry Christmas!
