My Favourite Boots are Le Chameau's...

I don't think of myself as one of those women that must have a room sized closet full of shoes. I am a fairly practical person. As I get older, however comfort and quality take over. A product that lasts and in which makes my life and time afield more pleasurable is more important.

These are without a doubt my most favourite pairs of boots I've ever owned.
Wellingtons boots in case you don't know, are DIFFICULT! Between finding the right kind of toe, you like to finding a pair that's comfortable enough that you'll actually want to wear them. Choosing the perfect pair of wellies can rival rocket science in terms of level of difficulty and I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found my pair.

There's nothing worse than wearing a brand new, shiny pair of flawless boots.
Talk about attention-grabbing!!

Only thing is, they weren't cheap. Well let me approach this another way: they were expensive. Not as much as a pair of Jimmy Choos.

So, when I tried on my first pair of LeChameau I left the store, figuring I'd find another pair somewhere else that I liked just as well and not as expensive but I returned to the store and bought them an hour later. I just knew I'd found my soulmate.

They've turned out to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. I wear them on average, five out of seven days a week. I wear them in the mud. I wear them in the rain. I wear them to the grocery store, even to the hairdressers.
They're like butter on my feet: they're my best friends. I realise that there are just some things in life that are worth the money.

I guess there's just something imperfect about them and in that respect, they make me feel right at home. I love them SO MUCH, I have three pairs. The middle pair are my new ones and they are all neoprene so they keep my little feet snug over the winter periods. I've put a lot of miles on them already. I never felt relieved when taking them off at the end of the day, you know what I am talking about right? When you can't wait to take your boots off? Not so with the Chasseurs.
I could literally sleep in them (Actually I think I have slept in them once).

Here are my boots. (Thankfully, the don't look as perfect as they look in this catalog photo.) They can be found pretty much anywhere. I bought mine from Luck of Louth. I literally live in that store.

What are your favourite pair of boots?
